Here at No Faux HQ we just love unique and handmade gifts, especially when nature has played her part in making something that was once deemed unwanted into something beautiful. Kate Jane explains where she sources her sea glass and how she does her bit as a business owner for the planet and environment.
I collect all my sea glass from beaches local to where I live. I use only sterling silver earrings to make them wearable for everyone.
I amongst so many others get irritated ears with anything but sterling! My rose gold and gold hoops are also sterling but then plated with the chosen metal.
All of my packaging is either recyclable or re useable, for example I put little flowers on all of my packages which could be used as cute little decorations and I would assume/hope most people would keep. I am planning to go more eco friendly with using biodegradable tape. I hate plastic and as I’m getting such beautiful glass from the sea I would hate for any plastic to get put back there! Whilst collecting my glass I also pick up any rubbish/plastic.
